PA campgrounds offer fun and relaxation for the whole family on a spring, summer, fall or winter vacation. This is a very popular recreational activity, and it’s nice to get away from computers, phones and TVs and spend some time in nature.
The campgrounds in Pennsylvania are located throughout the state and offer trailer, RV and tent camping for families and couples.
We love to meet family and friends, sit around the campfire, swim, and trail hike.
With the gorgeous outdoor scenery, lots of lakes for swimming, and plenty of hiking and biking trails, visitors want to be able to be outdoors.
Most campgrounds are open April or May through October with some being open year round. If you’ve been hesitating at going camping, why not rent a cabin to start off?

If you’re roaming the PA countryside in your RV enjoying the Pennsylvania attractions, stop by and visit one of the campgrounds and enjoy an overnight stay.
Pennsylvania mountains help make your camping stay fun with lots of different outdoor recreational activities to enjoy right on the grounds or within a few miles of the camp.

Activities
Golfing, fishing, boating, miniature golf, disk frisbee and roasting marshmallows and hot dogs around a campfire are a few of the activities everyone can enjoy.
We fell in love with frisbee golf and play whenever we can. And paddle boating is a lot of fun if you’ve never tried it!

Enjoy All Year
Enjoy the great outdoors of Pennsylvania on your vacation with a stay at one or more of the Pennsylvania campgrounds.
You’ll find outdoor Pennsylvania to be beautiful any time of the year. If you’ve never seen a PA full moon, it’s a sight you definitely don’t want to miss.
And a sunrise over a lake is breathtaking. Make sure to have your camera ready!
The mountains are most striking in October when the leaves begin to change color.
The snow covered mountains are also beautiful as the snow clings to the tree branches and embraces the stately pine trees.
The spring has an air all its own with the grass, mountains and trees shaking off their winter colors and blossoming to a bright pretty green.
